On 15 and 16 June 2006 , the Kick-off Meeting of the NIS-NEST project was held in the premises of the National Documentation Centre, in Athens . In the Meeting participated and delivered relevant speeches Dr. Carlos Saraiva-Martins, Scientific Project Officer in the DG Research of the European Commission as well as representatives from the following partners: INRA (France), Lomonosov University and CAS of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (Russian Federation), Academy of Science of Ukraine (Ukraine), CIT (Belarus) and Academy of Science of Moldova (Moldova).
